Richard Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery. Visitation were held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., on Sunday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday and remain open until service time. A resident of Jeanerette, Clyde passed away at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Clyde was known as being very affectionate and always smiling and ready to give hugs. He communicated through sign language and was always flirting. His nicknames were “Bud Man” and “Humbug.” He loved music, watching game shows, football, baseball, basketball and Food Network. His favorite places to eat were McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. Clyde will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Complete Home Health, L&D Community Care, Iberia Medical Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and to home health nurses, Charlene Landry, Angelina Mouton, Sasha Shavers, Mona Abraham and Denise Simon. He is survived by his father, Clyde Joseph LeBlanc Jr.; mother, Melissa Mayea LeBlanc; brother, Lance LeBlanc of Jeanerette; sister, Ashley LeBlanc and fiancé, Chris Geerts of Jeanerette; grandmother, Bernice LeBlanc of Jeanerette; aunts, Sheila Clements and husband, Clint Clements Sr. of Jeanerette, Norma Dubois and husband, Mitchell Dubois Sr. of Jeanerette, Nora Jones and husband, Herman, of Franklin, Elaine Savoie and husband, Tommy, of Gibson; uncles, Michael LeBlanc of Jeanerette, Robert LeBlanc of Avery Island, Terry LeBlanc of Jeanerette, Jerry Leblanc of Jeanerette, Billy LeBlanc of Jeanerette, Chad Mayea and wife, Andrea, of Franklin, Byron Mayea and wife, Cindy, of Franklin, Johnny Ledet of Jeanerette, Richard Boudreaux of Franklin; and numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, St. Paul Lee LeBlanc, Earl Mayea, Joyce Mayea; aunts, Tammy LeBlanc Ledet, Shelly Mayea and Rhoda Mayea Boudreaux. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Dubois Sr., Lance LeBlanc, Chris Geerts, Clint Clements Jr., Byron Mayea and Jeremy Jones.
