Be Thi Mai 61, a native Vietnam and a resident of Patterson, passed away 
surrounded by her loving family in Lafayette.

Be is survived by her daughters Chi Thi Chau and Thuy Thu Thi Chau and one son 
Minh Duc Chau. Her brothers and sisters Lang Van Mai, Nguyet Mai, Tai Tan Mai, 
Lam Van Mai, Anh Thi Mai, Hoa Ngoc Mai, Suong Thi Mai, and Dung Ngoc Mai. Be is 
also survived by her grandchildren Thien Duc Le, Tuyet Van Le, Trang Nhi Chau 
and Phuong Goodale.
Be is preceded in death by her parents Chau Van Mai and Ve Thi Ngo.
Visitation will be at Hargrave Funeral Home on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 
with services each night at 6 pm in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral 
services will be Sunday beginning at Hargrave Funeral Home at 3pm with a 
funeral procession to Lafayette beginning at 5 pm.

Be Thi Mai will be laid to rest with family services at a later date.
