He was the assistant supervisor of the Water and Sewage Department of the City of Franklin. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marva Morris of Franklin; one son, Marvin Morris of Lafayette; one daughter, Ms. Kirsten G. Benjamin of Carencro; 10 brothers, Jerome Morris and Glenn Morris, both of Oakland, California; Joseph Morris and Timothy Morris, both of Houston, Texas; Rufus Morris of Lafayette; Christopher Morris of New Orleans; Harry Johnson, Michael Morris and Ronald Hawkins, all of Franklin; and Kenneth Ray Morris of Panama City, Florida; seven sisters, Ms. Stephanie Morris and Ms. Leisa Morris, both of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Doris Nedd, Mrs. Lottie Coleman, Mrs. Shelia Oliver and Mrs. Angela Carter, all of Franklin; and Ms. Yolanda Morris of Atlanta, Georgia; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Visitations will be observed Friday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Barrow St. in Franklin. Burial rites will be read Friday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Allen Ray Randle officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery on the bayou side on Main St. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations. ===================
