ROBERTS, HARRY JAMES 

Mr. Harry James Roberts, 57, a resident of Jeanerette and native of Opelousas, 
died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at New Iberia Manor North.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leola Prejean Roberts of Jeanerette; one son, 
Daniel Prejean of New Iberia; two daughters, Peggy Gabriel and Etta Prejean, 
both of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Larry Roberts and Patrick Roberts, both 
of Jeanerette, Harold Roberts of Loreauville and Chris Roberts of Houston, 
Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Rose White, Mrs. Rita Landry, Mrs. Betty Drexler and 
Mrs. Verna Sereal, all of Jeanerette, Mrs. Jenelle Johnson of New Iberia and 
Mrs. Catherine Edwards of Houston; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitations were observed Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary 
Chapel.

Burial rites were read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
W.J. Otis officiating.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin was in charge of arrangements.
