Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Michael Anthony Arton, 44, a Franklin native and 
resident of Breaux Bridge, who passed away Monday morning in his sleep. 

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 

Officiating the services will be Michael's uncle, Michael Lee Meyers.

Mike was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served stateside 
during the Persian Gulf War. He was also an avid fisherman who loved the 
outdoors.

Survivors include his children, Amy Elizabeth Arton and her fiancé Blaize 
Barrilleaux, Kay Michael Arton, and Jackson Michael Arton, all of Franklin, and 
Ally Grace Arton and Ava Maria Arton, both of Breaux Bridge; his fiancé, Brandi 
Nicole Buxton of Breaux Bridge; his mother, Judith Meyers Arton; three sisters, 
Laura A. Hayes and her husband Richard of Huachuca City, AZ, Donna L. Arton and 
her companion Mark Henslee of Franklin, and Lynette A. Pellerin and her husband 
Scott of Franklin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and 
cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas James Arton, Sr.; his 
brother, Nicholas James "Nicky" Arton, Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Lionel 
Arton Sr. and Mary Lonigro Arton; and his maternal grandparents, Virgil Meyers 
and Hazel Meyers Boudreaux.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert's Mortuary from 
11:00 AM until time of service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blaize Barrilleaux, Gary Naquin, Sr., Michael 
Lee Meyers, Gary Naquin, Jr., Buddy Arton, Chris Achee, and Joey Landry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
