JACKSON, CHYREL ANN ‘POOCHIE’ 

Ms. Chyrel Ann “Poochie” Jackson, 56, a resident of Houston, Texas and native 
of Lafayette, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 5:53 p.m., at the Methodist 
Hospital in Houston, Texas following a short illness.

She is survived by her father, Andrew Jackson Jr. of Franklin; three brothers, 
Michael Chattman of Houston, Texas, Leslie Jackson of Franklin and Anthony 
Jackson of Covington, Georgia; three sisters, Pastor Adraine Jackson White and 
Ms. Lori Jackson, both of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Paula Herrin of Houston, Texas; 
and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and one 
brother.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Triumph 
Baptist Church, 1005 Iberia St. in Franklin.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Apostle 
Albert W. White officiating.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
