Willie Jones, 80, a native of Woodville, Miss., and resident of Jefferson died 
June 4 at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Historic Second Baptist 
Church, 2505 Marengo St., New Orleans.

Survivors include a son, Damon Jones of New Orleans; three brothers, Albert 
Jones of Verdunville, and James Jones and Melvin “M.H.” Jones, both of New 
Orleans; and four sisters, Audrey J. Young of Marrero, Cynara J. Burris of New 
Orleans, Katherine J. Garrison of Kenner and Ella J. Harris of Magnolia, Ark.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of 
arrangements.
