RENTROP, ALCEE H., JR.
(September 9, 1928 - June 7, 2013)

Alcee H. Rentrop, Jr., 84, a resident of Bayou L"Ourse passed away Friday, June 
7, 2013 at Morgan City Healthcare Center.

Alcee was born on September 9, 1928 in Bayou L"Ourse the son of Alcee H. 
Rentrop, Sr. and Telizia Pennison Rentrop.

Alcee served his country with honor serving in the United States Army during 
the Korean War.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sisters, Elise R. Landry 
and Manola R. Miller both of Bayou L'Ourse; three brothers, Laurie W. Rentrop 
of Vienna, Va., Merrill J. Rentrop, Sr. of Bayou L'Ourse, Burns A. Rentrop, Sr. 
of Sulpher, La. Alcee is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alcee H. Rentrop Sr. and Telizia 
Pennison Rentrop.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at St. 
Andrew Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. 
on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 
9:00 a.m. until mass time on Tuesday at St. Andrew. 

Alcee will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery following mass.
