Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1306.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary for Mr. Percy John Trosclair, 86, a native of Dulac and a resident of Franklin for the past 63 years, who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning, June 24, 2013. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Fr. Thomas Vu will officiate the services. Mr. Percy was a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed French and old country music and also played the guitar. He was a family man, but his life was on the water, which led him to a lifelong career as a boat captain, traveling all over the world, often for months at a time. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Anna Mae Rogers Boiteaux Trosclair; five children, Louis "Poochie" Boiteaux, Jr., Darrell Boiteaux, Bobby Boiteaux, Maxine Trosclair, and Donald Trosclair; two brothers, Robert Trosclair and Raymond "Ivy" Trosclair; two sisters, Rose Brasseaux and Anna Mae Champagne; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend and neighbor, Milton Gaudet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Laurencia Martin Trosclair; four brothers, Calvin, Murphy, Albert, and Abbie Trosclair; and one son, David "Grasshopper" Boiteaux. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's Mortuary from 10:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 1:00 PM.
