All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= VILCAN, EUNA TAYLOR Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Little Pass Baptist Mission in Charenton for Euna Vilcan, 91, the former Euna Taylor, who passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, at 10:28 a.m., at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette. Entombment will be in Chitimacha Mausoleum in Charenton. The Rev. Bobby Hodnett, Rev. Chris Halloway and Rev. Joe Keith Cruse will officiate at the services. Mrs. Vilcan was a native of Enterprise and lived in Charenton for most of her life. She was a parishioner of Little Pass Baptist Mission in Charenton and loved traveling. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Vilcan of Charenton; daughters, Jane Babb and her husband, Herman, of Sorrel; Sheryl Landry of Franklin; and Faye Boudreaux and her husband, Michael, of Lafayette; one daughter-in-law, Evelyn Champagne Derouen and her husband, Wesley, of Sorrel; 13 grandchildren, Jeannine Thibodaux, Eddie Babb, Troy Babb, Joni Junca, Russell Boudreaux III, Ted Boudreaux, Heidi Towery, Thomas Skeet Landry, Tana Landry, Torry Landry, Brady Hebert and Courtney Sobert; 27 great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Taylor and his wife, Sue, of New Iberia; and three sisters, Edwina Picou of Thibodaux, Olive Brantley and Virginia Cole, both of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Taylor and the former Eula Cruse; her former husband, Russell Boudreaux Sr.; one son, Russell Boudreaux Jr.; and two grandchildren, Lynn Babb and Tanya Lynn Landry. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in the name of Euna Taylor Vilcan may be made to Little Pass Baptist Church, P.O. Box 326 Charenton, La. 70523. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday.
