WILLIAMS, BERNIE, JR.

Mr. Bernie Williams Jr., 63, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas and native of 
Patterson, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Medical Center of Arlington in 
Arlington, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McDaniel Williams of Grand Prairie, Texas; 
mother, Catherine Green Williams of Sparks, Nevada; three sons, Marlin (Ericka) 
McDaniel of Franklin, Damon (Crystal) Bridget of Pflugerville, Texas and Marcus 
Williams of Houston, Texas; one brother, Richard (Gussie) Williams of Franklin; 
one play brother, Michael Hartman of Patterson; one sister, Janice (Irving) 
Gray of Sparks, Nevada; and one aunt, Mercede Williams.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. 
Luke Baptist Church in Patterson.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Keith Verrett and the Rev. Deandre Johnson Sr. officiating. 

Entombment will follow in the Franklin Mausoleum.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
