Pearline Marie Adams, 72, a native of Gibson, Louisiana passed away Monday, 
July 15, 2013 at Terrebonne General Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She loved life, her family, grand and great-grandchildren, friends, garage 
sales and cooking.

Pearline is survived by her husband of 56 years John D. Adams, Sr.; a son, John 
D. Adams, Jr. and his wife Ruby of Choupic, Louisiana; four grandchildren 
Hollie Sauce, Keith Sauce, Jr., Derrick Adams and Jeremy Granier; three great-
grandchildren Jordan and Jaxon Granier and Preston Adams (to arrive in 
September); three brothers, Russell, Freddie and David Triche; five sisters, 
Geraldine (Lou) Theriot, Sue Dupre, Janice Pollet, Katie Guillory and Jackie 
Oliver.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Haywood and Notilia Deroche Triche; a 
daughter, Robbie Sauce; and a sister, Mary Aucoin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 
St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, Louisiana and a Mass of Christian 
Burial at 10:30 a.m. 

She will be laid to rest in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Gibson, 
Louisiana.

Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
