CHAPMAN, RAPHAEL "LIL RAY" JOSEPH, JR.
(July 10, 1971 - July 14, 2013)

Raphael Joseph Chapman Jr., “Lil Ray” 42, a lifelong resident of Morgan City 
passed away at his residence on July 14, 2013.

Lil Ray is survived by his fiancé, Terrie Ganel of Pierre Part; mother, Dolly 
Chapman; four sisters: Karen Phillips and Ty of Bayou Vista, Tracy Rhodes and 
Reed of Berwick, Chasity Massicot and Frank of Kenner and Brittany Chapman of 
Morgan City; one brother, Gary Durocher and Wendy of New Iberia; one step-
daughter, Carley Blanchard of Pierre Part; stepfather, James Gonzales along 
with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raphael J. Chapman Sr.; one sister, 
Misty Chapman Welch and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home 
beginning at 10am until time of service at 1pm. 

He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
