She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Orelia Smith of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Deborah Johnson and Ms. Lela Coleman, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Georgette Evans of Irvin, Texas; five brothers, Kenneth Smith and Stafford G. Boatman, both of Franklin, Barry Smith of Lafayette, Brian Smith of Jeanerette and Charles Smith of Stone Mountain, Georgia; three sisters, Mrs. Debra (“Sally”) McFarlane, Ms. Sheila Smith and Ms. Chandra Smith, all of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, one son, one sister and two brothers. Visitations will be observed Saturday July 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1110 Barrow St., Franklin. Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 10 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. Allen Ray Randle officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery on the bayou side. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations. ===================
