Curtis Dion Maryland, Sr., 39, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died 
at 6:25 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

Visitation will be at Church of Christ-Samuel St., in Houma on Tuesday, July 
16, 2013 from 9:00 until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Curtis Beasley; a devoted 
companion, Christshonda Norman; five sons, Curtis Dion, Jr., Christopher, and 
Treyvien Maryland, Zacchaus Hawkins, and Rashad Hayward; two daughters, Skai 
Norman; six brothers; James Price, Michael and Richard Maryland, Patrick 
Matthews, Bruce Stewart, and Leroy Johnson, Jr.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Donna Maryland; maternal grandparents, 
Rosedell Hawkins and Richard Maryland, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Olivia and 
Clarence Beasley; two aunts, Jeanne "Joan Marie" Lagarde and Armenta Navarre; 
and two uncles, Christopher Maryland and Michael Beasley.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
