Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Patterson for Emeline "Emma" Josephine Lemaire Menard, 80, a native 
of Kaplan, former longtime resident of Patterson and Houma, and a current 
resident of Patterson for the past year, who passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, 
at the Patterson Health Care Center. 
Father Herb Bennerfield will officiate the service. Following funeral services 
Mrs. Emma 
will be cremated and a private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Survivors include eight children, Frankie Menard and his wife Connie, Ricky 
Menard, Glen Menard and his wife Vickie, Terry Menard, Loicey Menard and his 
wife Catherine, Diana Menard, Leonore Menard and her companion Henry Patrick, 
and Betty Joe Menard Kohler and her husband Matt; two brothers, George Lemaire 
and his wife Terry and Senua Lemaire Jr. and his wife Royce; one sister, Carrie 
"Pete" Lemaire Eleazar Doucet and her husband Charles; 16 grandchildren; 16 
great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Menard, Sr.; and her 
parents, Senua Lemaire Sr. and Leonore Gaspard Lemaire.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert's Mortuary from 
6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at 
11:00 AM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1111 Lia Street, 
Patterson, LA
