WASHINGTON, PERCY 

Mr. Percy Washington, 91, a resident of Houston, Texas and native of Ashton, 
died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 11:44 a.m., at his residence following a short 
illness.

He is survived by one sister, Odeal Marsh of Morgan City; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitations will be observed Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Special 
Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.

Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
W.J. Otis officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
