Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1308.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella for Helen Landry Aucoin, 66, who died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in the Broussard Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Tremie will be the celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will continue from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday. A native of Bayou L’Ourse, Mrs. Aucoin was born May 20, 1947, and was a 1965 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Morgan City. She was a resident of New Iberia and retired from Global Industries after 20 years of service. Her hobbies were cooking for her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She was a very dedicated, compassionate and loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Joseph Aucoin of New Iberia; daughters, Alicia Aucoin McDonough and husband, Darren, of Hahnville and Kyla Aucoin Neuville and husband, Kelly, of Loreauville; grandsons, Logan and Peyton McDonough and Cade Neuville; her mother, Elise Rentrop Landry of Bayou L’Ourse; brothers, Craig Landry of Youngsville and Brent Landry and wife, Cathy, of Labadieville; and sisters, Bonnie Mashburn and husband, Don, of Lafayette and Patricia Foreman of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her father, a World War II veteran, Lloyd Landry; and her brother, Rodney Landry. Pallbearers include Darren McDonough, Kelly Neuville, Logan McDonough, Peyton McDonough, Cade Neuville, Brent Landry, Craig Landry and Errol Neuville. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Aucoin.
