Bertha Steward-Coleman, 70, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died 
Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 12:30 a.m.

Visitation will be at Beacon Light Baptist Church on Saturday, August 17, 2013 
from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

She is survived by: three sons, Johnnie (Sherry) Coleman, Floyd and Alexander 
Steward; two daughters, Clorissa Epps and Joan (Leval) Hartfield; three 
brothers, Raymond (Alta), Jerry, and Marvin (Joann) Steward; two sisters, Elder 
Hilda S. Wilson and Barbara (William) McKinley; thirteen grandchildren; twelve 
great grandchildren; and godchildren, Edwina Steward and Rev. Johnny Clark.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Jerry and Octavia Pete-Steward; sister, 
Marion Steward; brothers, Royal Rufus, and Bobby Steward.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
