DELASBOUR, LUTHER, SR.

Luther Delasbour Sr., 75, a resident of Baldwin and native of Franklin, died 
Friday, August 2, 2013, at 8:04 a.m., at his residence following a short 
illness.

He is survived by 10 sons, Jerry and Leonard Delasbour, both of New Iberia, 
Wilfred Delasbour Sr. and Brandon Delasbour Sr., both of Jeanerette, David and 
Jamie Delasbour, both of Abbeville, Luther Delasbour Jr., Clifton Delasbour Sr. 
and Jason Delasbour, all of Baldwin, and Lionel Delasbour of Verdunville; five 
brothers, Robert Delasbour Sr. and David Delasbour, both of Franklin, John and 
Charles, Delasbour, both of Houston, Texas, and Donald Delasbour of Port 
Arthur, Texas; four sisters, Lydia Foulcard of Franklin, Mary Ann Boutte of 
Jeanerette, Anna Louise Dargins of Lafayette and Lucille Jones of San Antonio, 
Texas; 32 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 
Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
W.J. Otis officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Baldwin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
