(July 1, 1949 - August 22, 2013) Charles B. "Pop" Dunigan, Jr., 64, a resident of Pierre Part passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Pop was born on July 1, 1949 in Biloxi, Miss. the son of Charles B. Dunigan Sr. and Delmer Watts Dunigan. Pop loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed living the simple life in the country enjoying the outdoors by going hunting, fishing, and being out in the boat. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eva Hebert Dunigan of Pierre Part; four sons, Cory Dunigan and wife Amber of Amory, Miss., Jeremy Dunigan and wife Angela of Carmichael, Miss., Casey Dunigan and wife Nikki of Carmichael, Miss., Shane Dunigan and wife Stacey of Vidalia, La.; one daughter, Desire Dunigan of Vidalia, La.; five step children, Stephanie Crothers of Kaplan, La., Justin Boudreaux of Morgan City, Charlene Naquin of Bayou L'Ourse, Anna Boudreaux of Lockport, La., Cheryl Guidry of Houma. Pop is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; three sisters, Marsha Maxie, Betty Bolyer, Debbie Nichols, all of Natchez, Miss.; one brother, Roy Dunigan of Natchez, Miss. Pop was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Heather Dunigan; one son, Heath Dunigan; and one grandson, Van Dunigan. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013 at New Covenant Community Church in Pierre Part with Pastor Joey Sedotal officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Belle River Baptist Church Cemetery. ===================
