Tim’s passion was Jesus and bringing Jesus to people. He enjoyed motorcycles, guitars, guns, working with his hands and his dog, Harley. He touched every life he came across with love and lots of laughter. You never knew what Tim would say next, whether profound or ridiculous. He truly cared about the people in his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, to motivate others to be their best, and to do anything that would bring a smile to their face. He carried the hope of Jesus every day. He once said, “The American dream is nothing compared to the Kingdom dream.” Tim’s walk with Jesus began at a young age and his faith never wavered, but grew stronger with each passing year. Tim battled cystic fibrosis with courage and conquered life with grace. In doing so, he strengthened the faith of others and brought them courage. Tim is survived by his loving parents, Gwendolyn “Gwen” LeBlanc and Larry C. Ford Jr.; a sister, Katie Ford; grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Marie LeBlanc, Adelyn and Al Retif, Larry Sr. and Dallas Ford, and Cheryl McGill; and aunts and uncles, Raelyn and Dean Millet, Travis and Sandi Ford, and Gary and Kim Ford. A visitation was held at Household of Faith in Gonzales from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013. Visitation resumed at the church today, Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Nick Matthews. Burial followed in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. ===================
