Rev. Robert Lee Johnson, age 63, a native and a resident Franklin, LA, died 
Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 8:05 PM at The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana 
in Lafayette, LA.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at St. Joseph Baptist Church in 
St. Joseph from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. 

Burial will be in St. Joseph Baptist Church cemetery in St. Joseph.

Rev. Robert serviced in the United States Marine Corp, receiving National 
Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

Rev. Robert leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Barbara G. Johnson of 
Franklin, La., a son, Shacoby L. Johnson of Eunice, La., a daughter, Sojlander 
K. Defils of New Iberia, La., four brothers, Lee Clark of Four Corners, Karo 
Johnson of Gray, La., Tyrone Haisley of Morgan City and AAron Watson of 
Chauvin, La; five sisters, Mattie Londo of New Iberia, La., Geneva Diggs and 
Bobby Jean Robertson both of Gray, La., Ora Mae Poindexter of Houma, La., and 
Eileen Johnson of Gibson, La; two grandchildren and a host of relatives and 
friends.

Rev. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Oreil Johnson and Elsie 
Doyle, two brothers and two sisters.
