She was in the care of lots of loving help. Theresa was born in Patterson on Oct. 7, 1928. Her parents were James and Enit Suire Olivier. All of her childhood and most of her adulthood was spent in the Patterson, Morgan City and Stephensville areas. She and Buster had many things planned for their golden years. They were going to park their just acquired motorhome here and were coming back to this area, him to fish and her to visit family and friends. But God had other plans for her and decided to call her home early. Survivors include her husband, Buster Moore; daughter, Debra Merchant and companion, Eddie Ribardi; sons, Wayne Benton, Greg (Tonie) Moore, Scott Moore and Brandon Moore; grandchildren, Curtis (Sabrina) Merchant, Trinity (Megan) Benton, Kristi Benton, Dawn (Ben) Shepard, Jessica (Corey) Diaz, Kylie Moore and Crystal Moore; and great-grandchildren, Amber, Leigh, Avi, Lilliana, Corey Jr., Isiah and Elijah. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Betty Boop. Thank you to all our family and friends for all your kindness and help. Special thanks to nephew Johnny Olivier and his wife, Prissy. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Tonya Merchant; brother, Felix Olivier; sister, Margaret O. Otto; daughter-in-law, Barbara Benton; and nephew, Richard Olivier. Theresa was lovingly known as Noonie to all her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by everyone. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at the Calumet Baptist Church in Calumet. ===================
