Betty Jane Morris a resident of Berwick passed away at her residents August 22, 
2013 at the age of 86. Betty was born August 5, 1927 to Willie and Gladys 
Wright in Commerce, Missouri. She was a former resident of Scott City, Mo and 
several communities in Florida.

One of her greatest joys in life was her grandchildren and her great 
grandchildren, " her sweet angles". She loved cooking for her family; every 
meal was like a Thanksgiving Spread. She will always be remembered as a devoted 
and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two sons, Jack Gaddis and his wife Ann of Fort Myers, 
Fl. and Jerry Gaddis, Sr. and his wife Charlene of Morgan City, six 
grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and on great-great granddaughter. 

She was preceded in death by her husband William K. Morris, her former husband 
Carl D. Warren and her daughter Carla Ruth Laumer, two sisters and a brother.

The family of Betty would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, 
Linda Rhineholt, Peggy Leblanc and Jackie Lejeune.

Visitation will be held at Hargarve Funeral Home Saturday August 24, 2013 from 
9 am until 1 pm, with services immediately following. 

Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
