Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1308.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson for Cindy Ann Landry Reed, 55, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou Vista, who passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013, at her son's home in Patterson, following a courageous battle with cancer. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Herb Bennerfield will officiate the services. Survivors include her three sons, Shawn Taylor, Nicholas Gowan and his wife Samantha, and Jarett Reed; one brother, Ray A. Landry; two sisters, Sandra L. Galloway and her husband Thomas and Sheila L. Dickey and her husband Bradley; three grandchildren, Collin and Aidan Gowan, and Kelsey Taylor; one nephew, Ryan Galloway; and one niece, Aimee Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Antoine Landry and Ola Mae Domangue Landry; maternal grandparents, Stephen Joseph and Maggie Fryou Domangue; and paternal grandparents, Duval and Myrtle Bourgeois Landry. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM, with the rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Taylor, Nicholas Gowan, Jarett Reed, Ray A. Landry, Bradley Dickey, and Cody Jackson. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Heart of Hospice - South Louisiana, to Cindy's dedicated friends, Becky Rayburn, Donna Hoya, and Vivian Tussin and to her daughter-in-law, Samantha, for the loving and compassionate care and friendship given to Cindy during her illness.
