Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1308.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Jynell Landry Stevens, age 66, died Friday morning, Aug. 9, 2013. “Jeanie” was born on Nov. 2, 1946, in Belle Rose, to the late Junius and Anaise Landry. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was married to Darrell Stevens of Morgan City and together they had four children. Her beloved children are Troy Stevens and wife, Shannon, Brandy Little and husband, Richard, and deceased twins, Jarod and Jarrod Stevens. She deeply loved her grandchildren, Lillian Stevens, Thomas Stevens, Emily Stevens, Robert Little and Cole Little. She was blessed with one great- grandchild, Evynn Kendrick. Her surviving siblings are Nelson Landry, Harriet Callegan and Arnold Landry. Siblings who have preceded her in death are Welton Landry, Elma Rodrigue, Mathilda Blanchard, Shirley Caballero, Beatrice Martin and Raleigh Landry. Jynell possessed many fruits of the spirit of Christ, and her children and grandchildren were blessed to know this living angel on earth. Goodness followed her. She was joyful and content with all that she had, patient and kind in her manner, and faithful to the Lord. She will be deeply missed. A visitation at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose, Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Merrick, celebrant. Interment followed in St. Jules Catholic Church cemetery in Belle Rose. Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville was in charge of funeral arrangements. ===================
