Muriel Alexander, age 57, a resident of Lake Charles, La., and a native of 
Franklin, La., died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Lake Charles Memorial 
Hospital at 12:27 PM.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2013 at St. Jules Catholic Church in 
Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will be in St. Jules Catholic Church cemetery in Franklin.

Muriel leaves to cherish her memories; a brother, Martin (Wendy) Alexander of 
Spring,TX; three sisters, Leona A. Alexander Smith of Houston, TX., Evelyn F. 
Alexander of Franklin, La., and Estell Richard (Joseph) Darby of Lajes Azores, 
Portugal; two aunts, Therese (Homer) Broussard of St. Martinsville, La., and 
Lillie (Joe) Forward of Orange, TX; two uncles, James Alexander, Sr., of 
Franklin, La., and Mitchell Alexander of Phoenix, AZ; the patients, faculty and 
staff of Robinswood School in Lake Charles, La., and a host of nieces, nephews 
and other relatives and friends.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, Harry M. and Leona Wilson 
Alexander, her paternal grandparents, Murphy, Sr., and Antonia Alexander; 
maternal grandparents, Simmie, Sr., and Leona Wilson; two brothers, Larry and 
Christopher Gerard Alexander; a sister, Patricia Ann Alexander and a nephew, 
Christopher Jerome Kemp, Jr.
