BROUSSARD, FLORENCE J. 
(February 3, 1924 - September 5, 2013)

Florence J. Broussard, age 89, a native and a resident of Franklin, La., died 
Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:55 AM at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in 
Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 10:00 AM. 

Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Glencoe, La.

Florence leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Anderson Broussard, Jr., of 
Compton, California and Merker L. Broussard of Glencoe, La; one adopted son, 
Edward Lockett of New Orleans, La; one daughter, Deloris B. Colbert of Los 
Angeles, California; one brother, Wilfred Edwards of Four Corners, La; nine 
grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and 
a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; Walter Jackson and Stella Sorrell Jackson and 
her husband, Anderson Broussard, Sr., two sons, and a daughter.
