Barrett Christopher Cart, 33, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Bayou 
Vista passed away, Monday, September 16, 2013.

Barrett is survived by his parents; John Cart and Debbie Romaine Cart of 
Patterson; two brothers, Derek Cart of Patterson and Damon Cart and his wife, 
Kim, of Santa Cruz, CA.; one niece, Arianna Cart; one nephew, Ronan Cart; and 
three uncles and four aunts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alden and Evana Cart and 
his maternal grandparents, Curtis and Lou Romaine.

Barrett graduated from Patterson High School and received higher education at 
ULL. Barrett was an artistic individual who enjoyed reading, writing, and 
drawing as past time activities. He was also an excellent cook, having gained 
experience at many different restaurants.

The family requests that a time of remembrance and reflection be observed 
Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6pm to 9pm with a rosary being prayed at 7pm 
at St. Bernadette Catholic Church Hall in Bayou Vista. The Church hall will 
reopen for continued visitation on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 8am until time 
of dismissal.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, September 20, 2013 
at 10am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista with Father William 
Rogalla officiating. 

Graveside services will be held privately at a later date by the family.
