Walter Hickerson, 59, a native of Kentwood, LA and resident of Terrebonne 
Parish, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 3:40 a.m.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at Jones Funeral Home 
Chapel in Houma on Friday, September 13, 2013. The funeral will be at 11:00 
a.m., and 

burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery.

He is survived by: one sister, Eva Ruffin Stevenson; and two brothers, Eddie 
and Frank Ruffin, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lizze Mae Hickerson-Ruffin; 
and one sister, Vera Ruffin.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
