Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1309.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 11:30 AM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. Harold Paul Robicheaux, a native of Centerville and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at 8:00 PM at the Franklin Health Care Center. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Mr. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing in the marsh and spending time at his camp at Grand Isle. He was a graduate of Southwestern Louisiana Institute (SLI, now UL). His entire adult work career was spent as an Insurance Agent with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. where he dedicated over 40 years of faithful service. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a First Lieutenant overseas during World War II. Survivors include four children, Debra Mills, Dale Robicheaux and Frances, Duffy Robicheaux and wife Cheryl, and Dixie Fontenot and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Blaize Mills and wife Tessa, Beau Mills, Brady Mills and wife Christina, Corey Robicheaux, Ben Robicheaux, Dane Robicheaux, Cheli Breaux and husband Josh, Courtni Robicheaux, Brandon Fontenot, Mia Fontenot, Maura and husband Pete Reivera, Paul Chapman and wife Monica, and Anthony Chapman; great grandchildren, Avery Robicheaux, Zoe Robicheaux, Jeffrey Breaux, Blair Mills, Brennan Mills, Bradley Mills, Keri Chapman, Payton Chapman, and Evan Chapman; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wiley Landry Robicheaux; his parents, Pierre Henri Robicheaux and Adelaide Dugas Robicheaux; two sisters, Agnes Roberts and Gladys Smith; four brothers, Allen, Roy, Jerry, and Daniel Robicheaux; and one grandson, Samuel Robicheaux. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's Mortuary from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in Mr. Harold's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC.
