Ethel Robinson, age 83, a native and resident of Franklin, LA., died Thursday, 
September 5, 2013 at 9:20 PM at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at Greater St. Matthews Baptist 
Church, 183 Smith Lane in Houma, La., from 4:00 PM until 6:00PM. Funeral service 
will be Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, 
1110 Barrow St., Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will be in the St. Jules Cemetery in Franklin, La.

Ethel leaves to cherish her memories; eight sons, Elijah Robinson, Jr., Everette 
Robinson, Donald Robinson, Ronald Robinson, Glen Robinson, and John Paul 
Robinson all of Franklin, La; Carl Robinson of Dallas, TX., and Lionel Robinson 
of Hercules Calif; six daughters, Truminnie Wiggins of Houston, TX., Glenda 
Alexander, Connie Robinson, Ruby Robinson, Shawna Jones and Lillian Gant all of 
Franklin, La; forty-four grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, three 
great great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Josephine Lewis Provost, 
her husband, Elijah Robinson, Sr., four brothers, Walter Provost, Edward 
Provost, Joseph Provost and Harry Provost; two sisters, ReAlice Provost and 
Vivian Durr; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Jones Funeral Home of Franklin/Morgan City/Jeanerette/Houma in charge of 
arrangements.
