Ismay Theriot a native of Chauvin and longtime resident of Houma and former 
resident of Amelia passed away September 29, 2013 in Patterson at the age 85.

Ismay is survived by four daughters Bernise Theriot of Centerville, Verna 
Ponvelle and her husband Carroll of, Thibodeaux, Diana Theriot of, Houma and 
Darlene Savoy and her husband Calvin of Centerville. Ismay is also survived by 
eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and two great- great 
Grandchildren.

Ismay is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Theriot her parents Gilbert 
Bergeron and Marie Blanchard Bergeron. Two brothers and four sisters and her 
great grandson Gavin Chilton.

A Memorial Gathering will take place a later date.
