Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1310.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Louis "Pap" Toups Jr., 68, a native of Berwick and a resident of Patterson passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at his home while surrounded by loved ones. Pap is survived by his two sons, Quincy Toups of Morgan City, LA. and Louis Wayne Toups of Oklahoma City, OK.; one daughter, Malinda Toups Moore and her husband, Noah, of Oklahoma City, OK.; his mother, Marie Toups of Athens, LA; one brother, Larry Toups and his wife, Mabel, of Stephensville; one sister, Betty "Jeanie" Fabre and her husband, Sheffie, of Athens, LA.; one stepbrother, Glynn Rulf and his wife, Dianne, of Stephensville; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Toups Sr. and one great grandchild. Pap was a dedicated employee for Baker Hughes as a boat captain for 29 years, having started in February 22, 1984. His favorite past times included hunting, fishing, and dancing. Pap was known for telling jokes and joyfully flirting. He was a good natured man, who was kind hearted and generous. His family was loved with all his heart. A time of remembrance and reflection will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 from 9am until time of services at 3pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City with Pap being laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Brother Ben Thibodaux will be officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Sheffie Fabre, Larry Toups, John Pierce, David Pierce, Quincy Toups, Louis Wayne Toups, Lawrence Toups Jr., and Larry Toups Jr., with Clarence and Lawrence Toups as Honorary Pallbearers. ===================
