Hayward Verdun, age 77, a native and resident of Verdunville, La., died Friday, 
October 25, 2013 at Tulane University Hospital at 12:23 PM.

Hayward was a veteran of the United States Army.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Jules Catholic Church, 601 
Magnolia St., Franklin, La., from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Hayward leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Patricia S. Verdun of 
Verdunville, La; four sons, Hayward A. Verdun of Verdunville, La., Terrance O. 
Verdun of Bakersfield, CA., Galen Verdun of Franklin, La., and Courtland Verdun 
of New Orleans, La; three daughters, Deon D. Coates of Cincinnati, OH., Shannon 
Verdun of Verdunville, La., and Victoria A. Matthews of Baldwin, La; one 
sister, Irma Thomas of Yaden, PN; eighteen grandchildren, five great 
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
