Chabert Medical Center in Houma, La. Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2013, Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 113 Federal Ave., Morgan City, La., from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Alvin known as "Lumpy" leaves to cherish many fond memories his friend, wife and love, Mona D. Barrow of Morgan City, La; one son, Johnny White, Jr., of Morgan City, La; one daughter-in-law, Tamsyn Brown White of Lafayette, La; two grandchildren, Rinney Turner of Beeville, TX., and Johnny White, III of Lafayette, La., one great-grandchild, Ja'Bradien Turner; four brothers, Romas (Willie Mae) Bourgeois and Ronald Barrow both of Morgan City, La., Joseph (Patricia) Williams of Bell Rose, La., and Westley (Martha) Williams of San Diego, CA; four sisters, Sherry Barrow and Tracey (Ronald) Campbell both of Morgan City, La; Rezona (Arnold) Verrett of Thibodaux, La., and Carolyn (Charles) Brown of Houma, La; five godchildren, Latasha Barrow, Brandy Moore, Heather West, Joh'Nay Coulon and Dalton Alexander; brothers and sisters-in-law, Odell Marsh of Morgan City, La., Lawrence (Linda) Francis, George (Virginia) Declouet, Gervase (Deborah) Declouet all of Patterson, La., Deborah (Warren) James of Berwick, La., Gloria Declouet, Joann (Donald Ray) Dugas, Joseph (Cora) Allen, Barbara Lebry, Douglas (Mary Nell) Allen all of Patterson, La; Gary (Terry) Levy of Houston, TX; Keith (Sybil) Levy and Michael Levy of Patterson, La; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
