Joseph Twiggs Jackson, 57, a native of Houma and resident of Lafourche Parish, 
died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 11:20 a.m.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 on Thursday, 
November 7, 2013 at Dularge Community Baptist Church. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by: his companion, Henrietta Amacker; two stepsons, Edward and 
Michael Amacker; two stepdaughters, Tamara Amacker and Bobbie Jo Queen; one 
brother, Sidney Poindexter; two sisters, Grace A. Twiggs and Evangelist 
Lorraine Fusilier.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Harry Twiggs, Sr. and Catherine 
Raymond Jackson; two brothers, Harry Twiggs, Jr. and Lionel Lyons; two sisters, 
Emily Robertson and Agnes Arvie; maternal grandparents, Buddy Raymond and Viola 
Turner; and paternal grandmother, Gracie Twiggs.
