Mullendore, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on November 26, 2013 in Baton Rouge, at the age of 79. Doris was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Morgan City. She spent her life working in the diving and oilfield industry. She was a 50 year charter member of Desk and Derrick. She was employed at Morgan City Rentals for 10 years and then worked for First Baptist Church as Financial Secretary. Doris was a self-sufficient lady and always a good steward of what God provided. She lived her life in a way that always glorified the Lord. Doris was passionate about many things, but few things could compare with her love for her cat, Su-Ling. She was also a faithful New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lola Mullendore. Doris is survived by Jerry and Wanda McCollough, Clint McCollough, Jeremy McCollough and his wife Amy, Daniel McCollough and his wife Ashley, Kade McCollough and his wife Jorden, and grandchildren, Walker and Emma McCollough. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her church family and numerous lifelong friends. Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, 2013, at First Baptist Church from 10 AM until 11 AM. A Home Going Celebration will begin at 11 AM at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Doris Mullendore to First Baptist Church of Morgan City. ===================
