NICOLA, MARGARET HELEN CASEY 

Margaret Helen Nicola, (nee Casey), died November 9, 2013 in Sandy Spring, 
Maryland. She was 96. 

She was born on August 21, 1917 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She will be remembered with a mass at the Blessed Mother Chapel at the 
Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd. at 10 a.m. Thursday, 
November 21, 2013. 

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. 
(Procession will leave funeral home Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m.)

Margaret “Maggie” Nicola was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, 
Nicholas Joseph Nicola.

She is survived by her six children, John Michael Nicola, Patrick Gerard 
Nicola, Mary Kathryn Dagar, Barbara Ann Schick, Joseph Anthony Nicola and 
Margaret Elizabeth Nicola; five grandchildren, Nicola Corpuz, Marianthe 
Gormanous, Katie Dagar, Melissa Schick and Jessica Schick; and four great 
grandchildren Sadie Gormanous, Anthony Corpuz, Sam Gormanous and Nicholas 
Corpuz.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 
Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Maggie’s favorite 
charity, St. Anthony’s Guild, 3140 Meramec St., St. Louis, Missouri 63118
