A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013, at 11:00 
AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Peggy Kihnel 
Rodriguez, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 9:00 AM. 

Peggy was a native of Franklin and a longtime resident of Ashton, who passed 
away at the age of 72 on Monday, November 11, 2013, at her home in Ashton. 

She will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. 
Father Gregory Cormier will officiate the services. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Rodriguez, Gregory Rodriguez, Henri 
Chauvin, Benjamin Hebert, Brother Marine, Dennis Hebert, and Richard McGoff. 
Honorary pallbearers will be James Rodriguez and Todd Rodriguez.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, James Joseph Rodriguez; one son, 
Todd James Rodriguez; one daughter, Jennifer R. Splane; one sister, Beverly K. 
Chauvin and her husband C.T.; four grandchildren, Reba Rodriguez, Erin 
Rodriguez, Sarah Splane, and William Splane; and one great grandson, Rylan 
Borne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly Kihnel and Ruth Tabor Kihnel.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
