William David Baytop, age 65, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of 
Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in Jackson, La.

Baytop was a veteran of the United States Army. He received his welding 
diploma, honorable discharged, various medals including the Purple Heart.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Zion Chapel AME Church, 
1511 Cherry St., Patterson, La., at 11:00 AM.

Baytop leaves to cherish his memories; two daughters, Wiesha and Adrian Baytop 
both of Patterson, La; two brothers, Jacob Baytop, Jr., of Patterson, La., and 
Percy Baytop, Sr., of New Iberia, La. His nieces and nephews; Roshanda Baytop 
of Patterson, La., and Janel Fryou, Percy, Jr., and Perrell Baytop all of New 
Iberia, La., DJ of Franklin, La; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and 
friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Melvina Howard and Bula Pickett 
Westley, uncles, Lawlass Howard and Alfred Ward
