A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 30, 2013, at 1:00 PM 
at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Irene Mary Dupre, 91, a native 
and lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, 
at 4:30 AM at Franklin Foundation Hospital. 

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM at the church, with 
the rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM. 

She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Donney Broussard, Scott Broussard, Michael 
Dupre, Johnny Chauvin, Felix Thibodeaux, and Travis Broussard. 
Honorary pallbearers will be Dudley Dupre and Bailey Bares.

Survivors include her son, Donald Ray Broussard, Sr. and his wife Betty; one 
brother, Dudley Dupre; three grandchildren, Donney Broussard and his wife 
Wendy, Shellie Bennett, and Scott Broussard and his wife Ericka; four great 
grandchildren, Travis Broussard, and Spencer, Matthew, and Bailey Bares; as 
well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand J. Dupre, Sr. and Valerie 
Bergeron Dupre; four brothers, Amos, Ferdinand, Jr., Eugene and Marshall Dupre; 
three sisters, Annabell LeBlanc, Lucille Theriot, and Marie Odell Chauvin; and 
a grandson-in-law, David Bennett.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
