Alberta Madison, age 71, a native and a resident of Franklin, La., died 
Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 12:18 PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at St. Stephen Baptist Church in 
Franklin, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Alberta leaves to cherish her memories; Johnny L. Price of Franklin, La; three 
sons, Darryl Reed of Franklin, La., Christopher Willis of Lafayette, La., and 
Jody Bennett of Houston, TX; six daughters, Lois Thomas, Cynthia Reed, Jessica 
Adlam, Denise Madison and Joy Bernard all of Houston, TX., and Joyce Freeman of 
Lafayette, La; a brother, Monroe Madison of Franklin, La., and a stepbrother, 
George Moore of Houston, TX; four sisters, Agnes Jones and Betty Alexander both 
of Franklin, La., Brenda Brent of Houston, TX., and Audrey Williams of Lake 
Charles, La; two stepsisters, Lillian Johnson of Franklin, La., and Metilda 
Davis of Houston, TX; twenty-three grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren 
and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, John Madison, Sr., and Agnes Johnson Madison.
