Joseph Martin, 65, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, died 
Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 6:10 a.m.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The 
funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Mt. Olive 
Baptist Church in Chauvin. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by: his wife, Louise Fleming-Martin; five sons, Michael (Cindee) 
Martin-Tellis, Elfrom (Monique) Fleming; Torin Fleming, Joseph (Yolanda) 
Martin, III., Eronne (Quizine) Martin, Sr.; two daughters, Jerne' Michael) 
Nixon and Tia (Damion) Robinson; two brothers, Warren and Michael Martin; four 
sisters, Ethel Green, Ollie (Noble) Patterson, Panzy White, and Rosie Scott; 
twenty grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur, Sr. and Ethel Coleman-Martin; 
son, Joseph Martin, Jr.; brother, Arthur Martin, Jr.; and grandparents, 
Clarence and Ollie Jones.
