Eugene S. Smith, 54, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Saturday, 
December 28, 2013 9:15 a.m.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m until funeral time at the church. The funeral 
will be 10:00 on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at Dularge Community Baptist Church. 

Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by: his wife, JoAnn Vanburen-Smith; five sons, Eugene, Jr., 
Jeremiah, and Jamaud Smith, Devin Franklin, and Terrell Williams; seven 
daughters, Rachel and Christina Vanburen, Julia and Jalisa Smith, Katina and 
Traneka Williams, and Lameka (Derek) Gincoo; three sisters, Sharon (Melvin) 
Adams, Lisa Smith, and Diane Williams; four brothers, Henry, John (Roxanne), 
Joseph, and James Smith; and eighteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry, Sr. and Cecilia Cannon-Smith; 
and two brothers, David and Keith Smith.
