Mr. Jesse Couvillier, Sr., 77, a native of Charenton and a longtime resident of 
Baldwin, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital 
in Jefferson, LA.

Survivors include one son, Jesse Couvillier, Jr. and his wife Schona; two 
grandsons, Jesse Paul Couvillier and his fiancé Devin Charpentier, and Dustin 
Allen "D-Dirty" Couvillier and his wife Cherie; one great granddaughter, Peyton 
Grace Couvillier; one half-brother Sidney "Koov" Couvillier, Sr.; three 
brothers-in-law, Ronald J. Anslum, Sr. and his wife Dale, Leo Daniel Anslum, 
Sr., and George Carlin and his wife Pam, along with numerous nephews and nieces 
that he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Anslum Couvillier; his parents, 
Lester and Lula Mires Couvillier; five brothers, Arthur "Hoss" Couvillier, 
Clifton "Cap" Couvillier, Floyd "Zoo" Couvillier, Albert "Put" Couvillier, and 
Lester "Nuchie" Couvillier; and two sisters, Violet C. Nixion and Irene C. 
Aucoin.

Jesse loved socializing with friends and spending time with his family, 
especially his grandsons and great granddaughter, but cooking and fishing were 
his passions in life.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
