Memorial services will be held Monday, January 20, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Phyllis Fletcher Falgout, 70, a native of Lecompte and 
resident of Jeanerette, who passed away peacefully at 11:58 AM Thursday, 
January 16, 2014, at Maison Teche Nursing Center in Jeanerette with her family 
by her side. 

Inurnment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Deacon Gerald Bourg will officiate the services.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert's Mortuary from 
9:00 AM until time of service.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who enjoyed dancing 
and reading. She was also a very creative person who loved working with flowers 
and arts and crafts. She had a young spirit and lived life to the fullest. She 
will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to 
express their sincerest appreciation to the staff of Maison Teche Nursing 
Center, especially Darlene Young and Claudette Navy, for the loving care given 
to their mother.

Survivors include one son, Eugene Falgout, Jr. and his wife Michelle; three 
daughters, Lisa Falgout Trahan, Michelle Falgout Kleinpeter and her husband 
Tommy, and JoEllen Falgout Provost and her husband Durke; seven siblings, 
Rebecca Louviere, Peggy Dunn, Judith Fletcher, Dorothy Dunn, Glenn Fletcher, 
Robert Fletcher, and Michael Fletcher; four grandchildren, Lauren Romero and 
her husband Aaron, Hillary Gary, Braedon Gary, and Katelyn Provost; two great 
grandchildren, Blakely Romero and Cole Gary; as well as numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Falgout, Sr.; her parents, 
Kenneth Fletcher, Sr. and Lula Mae Olivier Fletcher; and one brother, Kenneth 
Fletcher, Jr.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's 
Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
