Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2014/sm1401.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Lurena Faye Flack, a native of Gladstone, Ill., and a resident of Patterson, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at the age of 87. Faye was an active member of First United Pentecostal Church, of Berwick. She enjoyed a good shopping trip with her daughters. Faye worked at Lakewood Hospital for many years and later worked for and retired from Twin City Motel. She was an energetic lady working until the age of 85 and still found time to enjoy her family and getting to know each of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and collecting paper dolls. Being artistically inclined, she created special greeting cards and gifts for her family, which will become treasured heirlooms. No one will ever forget her famous pumpkin pies with homemade cool whip. Faye is survived by her daughter, Linda LaCoste of Berwick; son, George Flack and his wife, Janice, of Forest Grove Ore.; daughter, Gloria LaCoste and her husband, Sterling Jr. of Patterson; six grandchildren, Ginger LaCoste, Regina LaCoste, Kenny LaCoste, Lurena Newton, Michael Flack and Kimberly Clifton; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Lilly May Bagles; sister, Judith Drew; and son-in-law, Kenneth LaCoste. Visitation will be today, Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at First United Pentecostal Church, 3067 6th St., Berwick, beginning at 4 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. ===================
