GIBSON, MARY BELLA 
(March 13, 1922 - January 12, 2014)

Mary Bella Gibson, 91, a resident of Morgan City passed away Sunday, January 
12, 2014 at Morgan City Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.

Bella was born on March 13, 1922 in Morgan City the daughter of Etinne Delaune 
and Clonise Callahan Delaune.

Bella loved spending time with her family, but especially loved cutting up with 
her grandchildren. She loved being in the outdoors especially when she was 
fishing, which she loved to do. She was the owner and operator of the first 
beauty shop in Pierre Part, also owning and operating one in Morgan City. She 
was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Charles 
Gibson Jr. and wife Magdalen of Morgan City, Addie Mulholland and husband John 
of Brandon, Mississippi, Nancy Metrejean of Morgan City, Dewey Gibson of Bay 
Town, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great-great 
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bella was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Henry Gibson; three 
brothers, Dewy Delaune, Claude Delaune, Guy Delaune; two sisters, Bessie 
Angeron, Alice Webb.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given in Bella's name to St. 
Jude Children's Hospital.
